Workshop of trainers of Ukraine
The workshop of coaches of Ukraine is one of the projects of UMNITS (Ukrainian international educational and information center). It was traditionally held in spring and autumn in Crimea, before its occupation by Russia.
Mission
To maintain a high level of professionalism of trainers and high quality of personal growth trainings in Ukraine.
Goal
Creation of conditions for professional growth and exchange of experience of trainers, psychologists and socially active persons from different regions of Ukraine and abroad.
Tasks:
• assist trainers in raising the professional level of creating and conducting trainings;
• to give trainers the opportunity to show themselves, their work (conduct their master class, training, presentation) and receive professional feedback from colleagues and experts;
• improve training analysis skills;
• create conditions for the cooperation of coaching organizations of Ukraine;
• promote dissemination of information about the best coaches of Ukraine;
• expand knowledge and develop skills of all participants of the Workshop.
Participation in the Workshop provides an opportunity to:
• conduct your demonstrative master class, demonstrating your experience and skill (for which the “young” trainers will be very grateful!)
• try your hand at conducting a training or presentation (if you are a “young” trainer);
• receive professional feedback on your training (optional);
• exchange experience in training and conducting trainings;
• get acquainted with the variety of approaches, methods and working styles of trainers from different regions of Ukraine;
• expand your knowledge and develop skills by participating in master classes;
• learn about coaches and coaching organizations from all over Ukraine, establish useful contacts;
• it’s nice to spend the evening in the creative space of the coach’s “party”;
• enjoy the gentle September sea and sun;
• get an energy charge for fruitful work!
Features
The workshop consists of two parts: professional and underground.
Professional part (first few days)
Only for those who have already conducted trainings or are planning to conduct their first training at the Master.
The professional part includes:
• master classes, trainings and presentations of trainers from different regions of Ukraine;
• open discussions of trainings;
• analysis of trainings by experts (after preliminary agreements);
• training evenings and nights;
• educational, educational and developmental program.
General part (last four days)
For everyone who is interested in trainings and trainers
The general part includes:
• traditional coaches’ ball!
• interesting and useful trainings, master classes and presentations by coaches of Ukraine;
• creative, bright and warm evening events;
• rest, knowledge, development!
We held the first Workshop in 2006, on September 15 – 17, near Kharkov (Stary Saltiv) and it was called “Workshop of Young Coaches of Ukraine”.
She brought together active people from all over Ukraine who were able to exchange experiences and think things over opportunities for joint activities in the future.
85 people took part in the workshop: social and business trainers, consultants, managers of HR departments companies, businessmen and leaders of public organizations of Kyiv, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Kremenchuk, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, Novovolynsk, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Sevastopol and Simferopol.
During the Workshop, representatives of the coaching centers of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Cherkasy, Zaporizhzhia, Lviv¸ Kherson, Zhytomyr and Mykolaiv.
An active evening (which spilled over into the night) program resulted in joint creation and implementation enchanting mystery “The Land of the Land”.
In addition to business trainings, personal growth trainings and a coach school, the participants were expected to work at Open Space “National School of Trainers and Partner Network. Why? As? Where? Who? When?”. The result of the work in Open Space was the decision to start forming an informational web space of young coaches of Ukraine, the organization of the Coalition of Young Coaches and the national school of coaches through joint efforts.
Among other solutions of the Workshop:
– division in the future into the Trainers’ Forum (for discussing urgent coaching problems) and the Trainers’ Workshop (for sharing experience and professional growth),
– increasing the number of workshop days for a deeper insight into the secrets of the coaching profession,
– conducting the Workshop and the Forum in more comfortable conditions, for greater concentration on maintaining what is happening, and not on fighting cold and hunger,
– annually holding the Workshop in the fall, and the Forum in the spring.

The annual Workshop of Coaches of Ukraine was held by UMNITS on the warm sea coast of Crimea.
The participants of the Workshop were business trainers, social trainers, psychologists, psychotherapists and just bright, interesting personalities from Kharkiv, Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipro, Simferopol and other cities of Ukraine.
Every day, the participants of the Workshop attended master classes and presentations (3 per day), as well as an evening event, which sometimes ended with candles on the tops of the Crimean mountains, and sometimes in ball dresses on the verandas of the “Quiet Courtyard” …
And, of course, the warm September sea and the gentle sun made the Workshop even more pleasant and attractive.
